Time and attendance for businesses in Central America

Every hour worked, on the record

Your team clocks in and out with their own face on a tablet, so nobody clocks in for someone else. Before payday, you see who was late, who was absent and how many hours each person worked.

  • No credit card
  • No time clock to buy

Sample data: an employee clocks in on the tablet at 7:58 a.m., and her pay period summary shows 88 regular hours, 6.5 daytime overtime hours, 2 night overtime hours and 8 holiday hours.

The problem

Payday shouldn’t start with an argument

  1. 01

    Disputes over hours

Someone says they worked more than they were paid for, and there’s no way to check. With a paper sheet, it’s your word against theirs.

  2. 02

    Lateness and absences nobody tracks

A few minutes here and a missed day there go unnoticed until they become a habit. Without a record, every talk about it turns into an argument.

  3. 03

    Paying for hours nobody worked

Ten extra minutes a day across a team of 20 adds up to more than 80 paid hours a month.

How it works

Three steps, and the pay period takes care of itself

  1. Set up your business

Import your team from Excel, set schedules and open Quinzu on a tablet. A setup guide walks you through it.

    Same day
  2. Your team clocks in by face

Each person steps up to the tablet and is clocked in within seconds. They clock in with their own face, not a card someone can lend, and no photos are kept.

    In seconds
  3. Hours are ready for payroll

Regular, overtime, night, Sunday and holiday hours, along with late arrivals and absences, in Excel and PDF.

    Every 1st and 16th

No surprises on payday

See every hour before you pay for it

Quinzu splits each shift into regular, overtime and night hours, and flags Sundays and holidays. If someone forgets to clock out, you fix it and note why, and the change stays on record.

What changes

Fewer disputes, fewer meetings, clear numbers

  • Proof of every hour

Every clock-in and clock-out has a date and time. When someone disputes their hours, you show the record instead of arguing.

  • A reason to be on time

The tablet shows each person their on-time streak. Knowing that arrivals are on record changes habits.

  • Absences in plain sight

A scheduled day with no clock-in counts as an absence. At the end of the pay period, you see each person’s late arrivals and absences in one report.

  • Schedules by team

Set each group’s shifts, breaks and daily hour limit. Check from your phone who’s in and who hasn’t clocked in yet.

  • Edits with a paper trail

If someone forgot to clock out, you fix it and note why. Every change records who made it and when.

  • Their own face, not a borrowed card

Each person clocks in with their own face, not a card or a code someone can lend. When you need it, turn on PIN clock-in for anyone who can’t use the camera: each PIN is personal, and its punches are flagged.

FAQ

Questions we hear a lot

What if someone says they worked more hours?

Open their record: every clock-in and clock-out has a date and time, and every edit shows who made it and why. The conversation runs on data, not on anyone’s memory.

Do I need to buy any hardware?

No. There’s no time clock to buy and nothing to install: Quinzu runs on any tablet or phone with a camera and a web browser. Most businesses use a tablet they already have.

Do you store photos of my employees?

No. When someone is enrolled, Quinzu turns their face into a numeric code and discards the image. When you deactivate them in Quinzu, that code is erased within 30 days.

Do I have to switch payroll systems?

No. Quinzu gives you each pay period’s hours, split by type, and your accountant reviews them and uses them in the system they already have.

What happens after the 30-day trial?

It’s up to you. If you add a payment method, nothing changes. If not, your team keeps clocking in and your data isn’t deleted, but reports and exports are on hold until you subscribe.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There’s no lock-in and no penalty: cancel in the app and your plan ends at the close of the period you already paid for. Your history is kept, and your team can keep clocking in.

Which countries do you support?

Quinzu is available today in Honduras, with its overtime, night shift and holiday rules built in. Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama are next. Request early access and we’ll let you know when your country is ready.
